I Heard that there is only 2 now is that true ? Like someone merged together or something is that true ?

There are actually FOUR major credit bureaus in the US but the vast majority of Americans only know the top three. They are Equifax (www.equifax.com), Transunion (www.transunion.com) and Experian (this company was formerly called TRW..www.experian.com). The fourth and most used by government agencies and large corporations is called Innovis (www.innovis.com). They are so secretive that the only information they have posted on their website states that if you wish to receive a copy of your credit file from them YOU have to send them proof that you are who you say you are. They are not even listed on www.annualcreditreport.com! The good news is that when requested, with proper documentation, they will comply with your request and send you your file.
